White Papers and ebooks

I’ll help you create content for each page on your site, from the “About” section to the FAQs and everything in between.
The hardest part of marketing is often creating the content. If you’re running a business, you don’t have the time to keep up with a daily, weekly or even monthly blog, let alone ensure it’s getting pushed out on social media. That’s where I come in. I’ll work with you to create a content calendar, and we’ll work together to make sure you stick to it.
I offer two tiers:
I write the blog posts, submit them for your approval, then publish them on your WordPress site.
You write the posts, and I polish them to a new-penny shine by editing for style, content, grammar, voice and more.

SEO: By using the Yoast plugin for WordPress, I’ll choose keywords and write snippets to ensure your content is more likely to get noticed, not lost in the ocean of online information.
Social media shares: I’ll publish your blog post to the social media sites you select, such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram.
Social media posts: I’ll keep your business top of mind by posting pre-approved content to your social sites. Do you have a sale coming up? Fundraiser? Want to announce a new product or service, or post a picture of a group teambuilding exercise?
I have more than 20 years of experience as a copy editor, and have edited for three major metropolitan newspapers and four magazines. I’ll work with your organization’s existing style guide — and if you don’t have one, I can help you develop it. I can work with almost any well-known style guide you require, including:
- AP Stylebook
- AMA Manual of Style
- APA Style
- Chicago Manual of Style
I offer three tiers of editing:
Light editing. I’ll make sure your finished manuscript is free of typos and formatted correctly. This is the best if your piece is ready for the printer or has been printed in “proof” form. This is usually the last edit before publication.
A deeper edit. I’ll look for grammar, punctuation, spelling, tone and style errors. I’ll rewrite where necessary to fix wordiness, transitions, and ensure your piece fits the style of the publication. This is often the second step in the editing process.
The most substantive approach. I’ll check your manuscript for factual errors, inconsistencies, contradictions, plot holes and problems with theme, dialogue, and character development. This is usually the first step in the editing process. Sometimes combined with copy editing.
I’m available on an hourly basis to review and discuss your project and find ways to move it forward. I’ll review your marketing plan, editorial process, brand style guide, website SEO, Google Analytics and more. I’ll also speak at your school, workplace, or organization.
